Ataköy Event Day: Concert or Match Stay in Bakirkoy
If you are coming to Ataköy for a concert, a match or another event, split the day into three parts: settling in during the afternoon, the event and the journey back in the evening, and a relaxed checkout the next morning. At our address in Zeytinlik, Bakırköy, check-in starts at 14:00 and checkout is by 11:00; those two times set the frame for your plan.
The plan below works for events at Sinan Erdem Dome as well as programs around Ataköy Marina. Check event times on your ticket or the organiser's announcement; leave the accommodation side to us.

A sample plan, step by step
The example below is for an event that starts in the evening; shift it to your own event time.
- Midday, arrival: If you know you will arrive before check-in, ask about early check-in in advance; it depends on availability. If you have questions about your luggage, raise them when you book.
- After 14:00, settling in: Every guest needs a passport at check-in; Turkish citizens can use their T.C. ID card. The building has a lift, so you can get your suitcase up to the apartment easily.
- Before the event, dinner: Around Bakırköy Freedom Square (Özgürlük Meydanı) and İstanbul Caddesi there are plenty of restaurants and cafés; the square is a 6-minute walk from the address. Eating here before heading out makes better use of your time.
- Setting off: Allow 15–20 minutes by car to Sinan Erdem Dome and 10–15 minutes by car to Ataköy Marina, and add a buffer for event traffic. You can also take Marmaray one stop towards the marina and walk from there.
- After the event, the journey back: Before you look for a taxi, agree on a meeting point with your group. We cover the return options in more detail in the Sinan Erdem return plan.
- The next morning: Checkout is by 11:00. Late checkout depends on availability; ask in advance if you need it.
What to bring

- Istanbulkart (valid on Marmaray, metro, Metrobus and buses)
- Charger and portable battery
- A small bag that follows the venue's bag rules; leave large items in the apartment
A few hours in Bakırköy before the event
If you have time between check-in and the event, everything is within walking distance. The market area around Bakırköy Freedom Square (Özgürlük Meydanı) and İstanbul Caddesi is a 6-minute walk, Capacity shopping mall is 9 minutes, and the Bakırköy seafront and İDO ferry pier are a 14-minute walk. A short walk by the sea or a coffee in the market area is enough to shake off the journey. Eat here too, then set off at the right time for the event, and you will arrive at the venue full and rested.
Booking on event dates
Demand for accommodation nearby can rise on big concert and match dates, so we recommend sorting out your stay on the day you buy your ticket. Booking is by phone or WhatsApp message; you do not need to share card details online. We give you the current price and available apartment during the conversation and confirm the booking by written message. Small notes that help
- Before the event, set the apartment's air conditioning and head out; a cool or warm apartment will be waiting when you return.
- Tell us the time you expect to be back at night, especially if you have not checked in yet.
- If you are leaving the next morning, pack your things the night before; 11:00 checkout comes around quickly.

Common questions
What happens to my booking if the event is postponed?
Cancellation and change terms are sent to you in writing when you book. If the event date changes, call us or write to us on WhatsApp; we can look at availability for the new date together.
Can I check in early on the day of the event?
Check-in starts at 14:00. Early check-in depends on availability and must be requested in advance; tell us your arrival time when you book.
